BitBox Adds Support for Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 2020+ ECUs for BMW and MINI

BitBox has added support for Bosch MG1/MD1 control units from 2020 and newer, based on the NXP SPC5777 MCU, used in BMW and MINI petrol and diesel vehicles.

The new support is available in the following module:

Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 BENCH [SM2/SM3 ONLY]

Bosch MG1/MD1 with NXP SPC5777 Support

This update expands BitBox coverage for newer Bosch MG1/MD1 ECUs installed in BMW and MINI vehicles produced from around 2020 onward.

Supported applications include:

NXP SPC5777 MCU-based ECUs
BMW vehicles
MINI vehicles
Petrol engines
Diesel engines

Communication with the ECU is performed in BENCH mode, allowing technicians to work with the control unit without opening the ECU housing.

Required Module

The new support is included in:

Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 BENCH [SM2/SM3 ONLY]

Please note that this module is designed for use with Scanmatik 2 Pro or Scanmatik 3 interfaces.

This update further expands BitBox capabilities for the latest generations of Bosch MG1/MD1 ECUs, particularly those used in newer BMW and MINI vehicles.
